La Perla was visited on 9th December 2018 by a reviewer whose email address has been verified, and who says:
We have avoided this restaurant as everyone told us it was overpriced. We went on a subsequent recommendation and very glad that we did!
Excellent food, well cooked and very charming service. The ambiance is good and the wine list extensive. La Perla is not cheap but it is worth every cent! You get what you pay for! Highly recommended.

“We discovered La Perla thirteen years ago when we moved to Spain. Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service. In thirteen years we have never had a bad meal there. The girls that run the restaurant have always been courteous and polite and have always welcomed us with open arms. We have recommended the restaurant to many of our friends and they have all thoroughly enjoyed it.”
