Since the Coronavirus has upset all businesses “Restaurante El Mirador” has taken to opening in the afternoons with a GREAT “Menu del Dia” see below. which is a shortened version of their A la Carte menu at a reduced pice and offering exceptional quality at a VERY reasonable price. Hidden away in the car park of the “Apartmentos Mirador” it can be difficult to find, but you can gain admission through the Apartmentos mirador car park next to the “Diablitos Tapas Bar” (Ring the restaurant door bell if the gate is closed) OR from the side road (Calle Vega) there is a gate behind the “Diablito Restaurante” then down the steps.

The staff are very friendly and are proud to serve you from their exceptional menu offering a wide choice with their speciality dish being the “Sole Meunierre) cooked on the bone and filleted at your table side. The current “menu” offers three courses served with a complimentary malaga wine appetiser, a bottle of house wine and a basket of fresh bread.
We have been using this restaurant since 2003 and have left it as one of our “secrets” however we now feel that it really needs some help as they seem to be suffering more than most. Give yourselves a treat and pay them a visit.
El Mirador was visited on September 16th 2017 by a reviewer whose e mail address has been verified, and says
“What a fantastic place. Taken there by a relative who has visited regularly over a number of years. On arrival you have a complementary sherry, orders taken and then between starter and main there is a house salad. The menu is large enough for choice but not too large so as to be confusing. The recommendation was to have the Sole; its cooked meuniere style and is delicious. The staff are very efficient, friendly and switched on, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the experience leaves you feeling that you would visit again.
