and says, ”Winter is over and it has left my car in a disgusting state so I took it down to the American car wash on Palm Tree Avenue. Anyway the result was I had a couple of hours to kill so we went to La Pecora Nera for a drink, liked the look of the menu and decided to take “menu del dia”
An appetiser, which was a choux pastry pouch filled with mozarella cheese and fried, followed by a huge bowl of spaghetti bolognaise then an equally large pork fillet served with a salad. Bread was included as was a sweet and coffee (which we were not up to) and all of this for Euro 7.50. Excellent value well cooked and delicious.
It is run by an italian couple who are proudly serving food prepared and cooked in the manner of their local area in Italy on the Adriatic side of the country.
The bar has been well refurbished and is immaculately clean, as are the toilets, all in all a very satisfying experience and I drive home in a car that sparkled inside and out.”
