and says, ”We visited this lovely Bar after it had been recommend on Trip Advisor. 4 of us eat in The Vine 3 times, we had different meals on every occasion and to be honest couldn’t fault anything we eat. On our last visit we all had the Cod and Chips, we have over the years had this meal many times but this was the best by a mile. The owners Terry and Jan, you couldn’t meet a nicer and welcoming couple. The 4 of us included 3 generations youngest been 9 years old, were all made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Terry even took a photo of my Grandson at the Pool table with a Cup and a Cue in each hand it truly made his day and ours as well. Next time we are in Benalmadena this will be our first port of call.” |

and says, ”My wife and I can’t recommend this bar highly enough! Extremely friendly owners Terry and Jan and their son Scott, we always feel welcome when we visit. Food is always lovely and not expensive. Drink is cheap and there are no half measures in this bar, I can tell you! Great for sport, if you want to watch the match etc. The decor is traditional Spanish style and they have a spacious sun kissed terrace at the rear of the bar. Once you visit this bar you will definitely want to visit again and again! Paul & Gabby” |

and says, ”I don’t normally do reviews,but in this case I felt The Vine deserved a very special mention.When in Spain we prefer to sample local food and bars,its all part of the experience,we can get a British bar back home!True,the Vine is a British Pub,they do show live sports from back home,the menu does offer what you would expect,but that’s where the similarity ends!The choice of food is exceptional,we were a party of eight and the meals were quite varied and catered for every taste,well presented with generous portions.But most of all the biggest plus for me were the Landlords,Terry and Jan,they are the difference,friendly, helpful and most of all genuinely interested in you the customer.Well done for making our time here very enjoyable !! Highly recommended!” |

and says, ”I cannot praise The Vine highly enough. I have never felt so welcome in any bar around the world (and I have frequented a few). The friendly manner of Terry, Jan and Scott just makes you want to go back time after time (and we did).
The bar is ideal if you have kids as there is a pool table in the bar and a large kids park outside next to the terrace. There are also pub games such as dominoes available.
The food is lovely, large portions of home cooked food. I would recommend the fish and chips and the lasagne.
Sky Sports is on in the bar and Terry makes sure that he shows every available Premier League game.
We thoroughly enjoyed our nights in The Vine and can’t wait until next year when we will make many return visits.
Thanks again Terry, Jan and Scott for making us so welcome and adding to a wonderful holiday.

and says, ”We have been visiting The Vine now for some years. It is always so pleasant having a meal there or just a drink. The Vine is run by Terry and Jan who always give you a lovely warm welcome. The food is lovely, always of very good quality amd well priced as are the drinks. Terry and Jan have a teenage son Scott who is a keen footballer, he is very sociable and it has been great to watch his progress. Whether you are in spain as a couple, with a group of friends or on your own there is always a warm and friendly welcome for you at The Vine. This is great place to enjoy sport on the big screen. Terry also organises golf days which are great fun.
Terry and Jan are also a wealth of information having lived in the area for many years and are always happy to help in any way possible. We have recommended The Vine to our family and friends when they have visited Arroyo and they have always been very happy that we told that about this gem. The were very helpful giving advice on how best to get to the various attractions and the place was spotless with some great hunting trophies on the walls – excellent holiday pics!
