| Posted review 1 on | February 17, 2013 | and says, ”A pleasant surprise when calling in at “La Pinta” to find Pepe in charge (formerly of Pepes in Calle Andalucia) it was a sad sad day when Pepes closed last year at it was an exceptional Tapas bar/restaurant. It seems that excessive rent was its downfall. Now we find Pepe in “La Pinta” with his friendly welcome and delicious tapas the same as ever , a much smaller bar offering tapas and raciones specialising in fish snd shellfish is a delight. All of the spanish bars located in the alleys of San Juan have improved hugely over the years and this is a worthy addition to the zone.” |
