When we started this site back in 2003, we included a forum where one of the most asked questions was about the weather:
what is it like now, what is it like in [pick a month], does it rain in [pick another month], and so on.
So we created a weather section where we recorded the weather conditions every day. After ten years or so, web technology had moved on and this section was no longer required, so we stopped producing it and removed it from later updates.
However, recent climate changes have led people to wonder what the weather was like before. Well, now you can take a look.
